• Papular acrodermatitis of childhood (variant) • Viral exanthem • Scabies • Papular urticaria • Langerhans cell histiocytosis • Lichen planus • Erythema multiforme
• Also known as papular acrodermatitis of childhood • Symmetrical, monomorphic, papular eruption on face, buttocks, and extensor extremities • Originally associated with HBV infection; now commonly linked to EBV, CMV, and other viruses • Trunk typically spared — key clinical feature • Self-limited, resolving in 2-8 weeks • Lichenoid, flat-topped papules — may be flesh-colored, pink, or violaceous • Check hepatitis serology if clinically indicated
