Differential Diagnosis

• Milia • Sebaceous hyperplasia • Molluscum contagiosum • Oral lichen planus

Key Learnings

• Ectopic sebaceous glands — normal anatomic variant in ~70-80% of population • Small (1-3mm), yellow-white papules on lip vermillion and buccal mucosa • May also occur on genitalia • Entirely benign — reassurance is key
