Differential Diagnosis

• Livedoid vasculopathy • Venous stasis ulcers • Vasculitis • Morphea • Lichen sclerosus

Key Learnings

• Porcelain-white, stellate atrophic scars on lower legs and ankles • Hallmark of livedoid vasculopathy — thrombotic vasculopathy, NOT primary vasculitis • Associated with hypercoagulable states, venous insufficiency • Histology: thrombosis and hyalinization of dermal vessels
