Comment by Ximena Wortsman on February 25, 2012 at 1:16pm Neoplastic or developmental disorders as well as inflammatory diseases of the scalp may present characteristics that are hidden from a visual clinical examination. The addition of ultrasound imaging can provide many of these features and help to significantly improve the anatomical information and our understanding of the underlying physiopathological changes.
