Hello, Jeanette!
I loved your page and it seems to me we have a similar passion in dermatology!
Let's exchange e-mails for sure. As soon as I get home from work I'll be in touch.
All the best,
Carol

I graduated in Med School at the age of 25 and started early stationing (while in internship) and attending courses, symposiums and workshops in the Dermatology field. In the beginning of my career I built a variety of experiences from some the best courses and congresses around Brazil, externships, stations and working partnerships, well as a good exponentially increasing network. I worked for several hospitals and clinics in Rio, directed some (medical spa and dermatology clinics) and also performed as a lecturer and consultant for the cosmetic industry; launched my own project, starting with a clinic/ private practice_ with associates in the alternative and aesthetics fields, in a multidisciplinary approach. It was great and allowed me to develop a lot of management and quality of services' skills, besides_ the last, but not the least_ I could then achieve the expertise in formulating and performing minimally invasive procedures, such as injectables and laser/ light-emitted technologies, bioplastia etc. My clinic was later on reconceived into a consultancy concept brand, devoted to innovative formulations and strategic thinking for the cosmetic and medical industry. Away from Rio_ in Goiânia, where I lived for over a year, I kept my independent cosmetic consultancy projects (traveling to and from there), plus my private practice at Femina Hospital, while teaching at a famous local University, PUC-GO. In my last years in Brazil I was their professor for medical graduates (Dermatology) and also for a medical aesthetic institution_ CBMCE. At PUC, I was invited be part of the Dermatology staff for a new residency program_ an interrupted project since I decided to move to the US. Having married an American, I made my transition recently here and I want to keep up with the good work and implement some networking and knowledge exchanging here. Having been a Cosmeceuticals /Dermatology consultant for new lines in the Brazilian cosmetic industry brought me many interesting endeavours, such as the phytocosmetic, nanocosmetics and neurocosmetics; from all my previous works in this field, the one I loved the most was an Amazon line of phytocosmetics I introduced into a company. Now, living in the US, I intend to match a good residency program so I can have my career leveled to the same stage I am seen in Brazil. I hope to build a nice network in the US and worldwide, to develop new skills and work on areas I never had time or chance before. I am enthusiastic about restarting my career in the US and want to interact with new colleagues.
